The Knot Best of Weddings Reviews: 2021 Wrap
We love being a part of The Knot community, so to start off the New Year of 2022, we would like to express our appreciation for our amazing couples, clients, and fellow vendors who got us through 2021.
We were able to be a part of some incredible events and create amazing memories. The enthusiasm from both vendors and clients helps continue doing what we love doing, and helps boost us into The Knot Hall of Fame (!!) We feel incredibly lucky to kick off the New Year with a pep in our step and hope for many love stories ahead! With that spirit, we’d like to share some of our favorite reviews from the past year.
I cannot say enough good things about the Royal Dukes Band. At the end of the night, we literally could not get people off the dance floor! Coming from a musical family, live music was a must for me at our wedding. We also had their sound and lighting team set up additional things for us around the venue. They did a perfect job, at a great price, and were so professional. I would highly recommend adding their MC package on because our MC was incredible. She kept everything on schedule and let people know what was going on. She also alerted me when toasts were about to start, when they were about to take their scheduled breaks, and made changes on the fly to some of the special requests we had. I always heard Royal Dukes was the best in town, but I am so glad my guests, husband, and I were able to experience it first-hand. People are still talking about how amazing they were! They truly made my day so special.

Book this band y’all! You won’t be disappointed. The booking manager is so organized and answers any and all questions. The band members themselves were very professional, talented, and sounded amazing! Hard to do when you play a variety of songs and they killed it! If you love live music and hate the thought of a DJ, look no further! We had an 8 person band that included two singers and two horns. Get some horns, they really added dimension to the music. My mom is not a dancer and even she was out on the floor! And yes they will MC everything for you! No worries about a young DJ not being able to pronounce your wedding party’s names. They even have lighting packages to add to the ambience if your venue doesn’t! I need to find an excuse to book them again!

We loved Royal Dukes at our October 2021 wedding! We used Royal Dukes for our ceremony (pianist), cocktail hour, and reception music (7 piece band), in addition to their audio equipment and emcee services for our reception and we were super happy with how everything turned out! We were able to see them play live a few times at showcases in Dallas, and they sounded just as amazing on the wedding day! Royal Dukes brought such great energy to our wedding and our guests continue to rave about how fun it was to have live music! We are so happy we chose them and feel like they completely elevated our wedding experience! I think we still might go to some showcases just to hear them play again

I wish I could give them more stars. We had an 8 member band for our 100+ person wedding, and I swear my guests forgot there was a ceremony because they thought they were all at a live concert. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, was dancing. They absolutely brought the house down. I can’t thank them enough for their contributions to making our wedding day one of the best days of my life!

The Royal Dukes Band is AMAZING!! We hired them for a virtual holiday party, which they played live over Zoom. They were incredibly professional, worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were satisfied with their final performance, and our employees loved them. We cannot wait to have an in person event in the Dallas area and hire them to play live!
